"If you’re dish grief out then expect to get some back"

I think that's exactly his point, goose...

Not trying to catch you out, genuinely curious...

If it were a load of Forest fans and not players goading the Leicester fans, and someone switched and steamed in.. would your opinion be different?

Maybe speak to the coward who threw the bottle in the first place?

Your ‘what ifs’ are aimed in the wrong direction.

If you’re dish grief out then expect to get some back, don’t start crying just coz your team is losing.

goose regarding your pathetic comment about Payet "good on Dimitri", would you hold that same cowardly opinion if that bottle struck your young daughter in the face

Re: Fans out of control
goose you need to do some homework , in recent times Bellamy, Alan Smith, Evra, Payet have all assaulted supporters. Before that Cantons assaulted a supporter and Carragher threw a coin indiscriminately at supporters and struck a little girl ( he has form for that sort of thing)

Re: Fans out of control
Dier confronted someone who was giving him grief, he didn’t smack anyone around. Good for him for confronting them.
Good on Dimitri Payet for throwing that bottle back in the crowd as well.

People think having a ticket gives them the right to act however they want.

Eric Dier?

Repka came close to it a few times.

Happens a lot more abroad.

Re: Fans out of control
Cantona aside I don’t remember too many players jumping in the stands to have a go. There’s numerous examples of idiots running on the pitch to have a go, or throwing stuff at players.

Nothing wrong with a few verbal exchanges, but running on the pitch to get physical is just moronic.

Re: Fans out of control
Not really about "boo hoo". Leicester/Forest is a derby, not surprised someone took it up a level

Not saying i agree or disagree, just surprised it doesn't happen more.

Works both ways (see also Cantona)

goose if the players accept the consequences of their actions, just as the supporters have to, then fair enough.

Boo hoo the players were goading me.

Behave. Players get stick every week, it’s good to see them giving some back.

I'm surprised it's taken this long, not condoning the supporter but maybe the players should take a look at how they goad the opposition fans after they've scored

A ban can only be given through the courts for a criminal conviction or a civil case.

You can be banned 3-5 years if you do not receive a custodial sentence (including a suspended sentence)

You can be banned 6-10 years if you go to prison.

You hand in your passport for a time period when England play abroad including the duration of tournaments.

With your club you are given a exclusion zone of a 2-5 mile radius from the ground for 4 hours before and 4 hours after the game.

If playing in London you can’t go in the London borough of the home team.

There is no such thing as a lifetime ban. A club can “impose” one but it means absolutely nothing other than you can’t buy a ticket under that client reference number for instance.

A Middlesbrough supporter has been arrested after allegedly leaving his 11-year-old son at a hotel while celebrating his side's FA Cup victory.

What should he be banned from?

Re: Fans out of control
Dont banned people have to report to their local police station when games are on?
Personally i would sentence him to have a Forest badge tattooed on his forehead.

Thought at first one of the Forest players arriving late got a good punch on him but think he missed.

Similar incident in the Rotherham game this weekend. Suspect the Leicester knob will get banged up for his exploits, especially if he has previous of any kind.

Re: Fans out of control
How's a ban going to stop this twat going to games?

I know facial recognition systems are pretty good, but scanning 20/40/60,000 fans in about 30 minutes as they enter a ground and reverencing a central database of banned fans will be a challenge (especially if there are similar systems at (92) other grounds doing the same thing at the same time.

Even if they are pretty cheap (PL club budget-wise), if some chairman baulk at paying for a coach trip that at least had a possibility of generating further income, no way they'll fork out for something that 100% loses them income.

He'll be back watching games on his own terms.

Have we been blamed yet? The media will be looking to pin something on us for having the audacity to sign Tevez & Mascerino before they got a sniff of what was happening.
